About Goa YTTC

At Goa YTTC, our vision is to redefine what yoga teacher training means. Instead of providing our students with another yoga teacher training certification, we want to provide them with an opportunity for deeper, more long-lasting transformation. This is the foundation of our program at our location in Goa, India.
There are many reasons we wanted to create our own school of yoga teacher training. Traditional training programs have condensed yoga teacher training programs to teach only the physical postures of yoga. We wanted to provide a program deep enough to cover the philosophy, as well as other aspects of yoga, to provide a well-rounded program. The state of Goa lends itself to deep introspective practices and supports our training programs perfectly. The proximity to the ocean and slower pace of the local population supports introspective practices and gives our students the repose they require to prepare for the more demanding practices. Whether your intention in attending our program is to gain a yoga teacher training certification, deepen your practice, or take time for introspective practices to rejuvenate yourself, our program supports and provides for your needs.
